Galls occur on lateral buds, are about 7 mm long by 5 mm in width, with bracts that are 1-2 mm wide that turn brown and become recurved with age. Adults were reared in April. One generation occurs per year. Host: E. ericoides, E. palmeri. Distr.: California. Russo 2021.
