The plant-feeding gall midges of North America

Gall composed of two leaves joined together and forming a green blister where they join...Asphondylia sp.

Galls are similar to those formed on Solidago by Asphondylia solidaginis. The gall maker is evidently multivoltine. Host: E. graminifolia.
