New Species of Maple Mites

Eriophyes elongatus sp. nov.

Described from individuals found among red erineum galls on the upper surfaces of leaves of the sugar maple, Acer saccharum L.

[Eriophyes maculatus is also described from galls of an identical description; later work treats that species as an inquiline of elongatus]

Eriophyes regulus sp. nov.

Described from individuals found among red erineum galls on the upper surfaces of leaves of the sugar maple, Acer saccharum L.
